Press shop, tooling and lead time
A head supplier is really three things: enough press tonnage, the right tooling, and a shop that can inspect what it made. Here is ours, in that order.
Press and forming capacity
150+
Presses, from small high-speed machines for volume end caps to hydraulic deep-draw presses for heavy heads.
Ø3000
Largest outside diameter the equipment is rated for, millimetres. Production to date sits in the smaller sizes, so a diameter we have not run before starts with a dimensioned first article.
20 mm
Thickest wall we form, depending on diameter, material and profile.
0.6 mm
Thinnest wall — thin stainless end caps for the water-heater line.
Dedicated tooling
Head moulds for the common solar and tank sizes live on the floor, so repeat sizes need no new tooling charge. Non-standard profiles are quoted with the mould cost shown separately.
Spinning and necking
Spun profiles and multi-stage necking for shapes a press alone cannot hold — deep necks, tapered transitions and profiled cylinder ends.
Cutting, welding and finishing
Cutting and edge preparation
High-precision 3D robotic laser cutting, plus trimming, levelling, bevelling, hole punching and edge preparation.
Welding
Butt welding, socket welding and necking welds on pressure-bearing joints, with penetration checked by our own NDT team.
Surface
2B and BA stainless finishes, pickling and polishing — including mirror finishes where the head stays visible.

Capacity coming online
A second plant is being built specifically for pressure vessel heads: Huabao Yefeng, Junan County, Shandong. It is being equipped line by line, and production is scheduled to start at the end of October 2026.
Seven press lines
Nominal press capacity across the new lines: 1,200 t · 1,600 t · 1,800 t · 2,300 t · 2,500 t · 4,600 t · 10,000 t.
Spinning to 10 m
Spinning equipment specified for heads up to 10 m in diameter, alongside dedicated heat-treatment and non-destructive testing shops.
Purpose-built for pressure vessel heads and heavy metal structures: a 65.5-mu site (43,647 m²) with 30,555 m² of buildings — production workshop, R&D centre, staff accommodation and canteen — on a RMB 220 million investment, with a design capacity of 500,000 high-end formed heads and metal structural parts a year. Those figures come from the project approval published by the Junan County government on 13 February 2026: a public document, not our own estimate.
The plant is under construction and equipment is being installed line by line, so availability differs from one size to the next. Tell us the diameter you need and we will tell you plainly what is running today, what is coming, and when we can hold a date — we would rather answer that at enquiry stage than after you have designed the vessel. We will not present design capacity as output already delivered.
Tooling, samples and small batches
Most enquiries we get are not container loads. They are a first article, a trial batch, or a size the buyer cannot get from their usual supplier. That is workable, but it is priced and scheduled differently from repeat volume — so here is how we handle it.
A diameter we have not pressed before is not a problem in itself — it is a first article plus a mould decision. We will tell you which one it is before you commit.
- New profile: mould cost and lead time quoted separately and up front, never buried in the piece price
- First article: dimensioned and photographed for approval before the batch runs
- Trial quantity: small trial batches accepted so you can weld and pressure-test before committing
- Repeat orders: quoted at the tooled price, with a validity period that accounts for steel movement

Lead time and shipping
Typical lead time for a repeat size is two to four weeks from order confirmation, depending on press availability, material and whether NDT is required. New tooling adds the mould build time on top. We ship FOB Qingdao, and can also work on your forwarder's terms or quote CIF to your port.
Packing follows the profile: heads nest, which keeps sea freight cost down. We crate or pallet to keep the straight flange true in transit and mark according to your instructions.
